Queen Letizia of Spain accompanied her husband for a concert in Madrid, the event was dedicated to the 40h anniversary of the Spanish Consitution.
The Spanish royals spent Wednesday night with many officials who gathered to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Spain’s basic law. The 46-year-old Letizia donned a plunging navy cocktail dress with an amazing neckline. King Felipe’s dark blue suit was well-coordinated with his wife’s outfit.
The royal couple looked in excellent spirits as they arrived for the official engagement, marking the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution. The bold cocktail dress of Letizia featured dramatic lace detailing and a plunging neckline that cut down to Queen’s waist. Her demure pleated satin A-line skirt balanced out the daring top to create a playful yet elegant look.
Keeping with a monochrome motive, navy point-toe pumps and a navy satin clutch bag were the best accessories for the evening dress. She finished her look with what appeared to be sapphires set on delicate drop earrings.
Letizia’s preferred a slightly heavier make-up than usual, accentuating her natural beauty with lashings of dark mascara and delicate bronzing glow.
This marks an important year for Spain as it celebrates four decades since the constitution was written and has seen the royals marking the milestone with a number of events. In October, King Felipe was joined on stage by his eldest daughter and heir to the throne Princess Leonor for a reading of the constitution.
